hello!
i’m kearstin, a confident & magical guide of all sorts. or at least, that’s who i am currently. i contain multitudes, & you do too!
my tarot practice focuses on exploring the multitudes that exist in each of us so that we can imagine & work towards a more expansive & life-giving world for all.
i’m also a pastor, with a masters in divinity from brite divinity school where i focused on queer theory & migration studies — all of which impact the way i show up in my tarot work.
i’m neurodivergent, queer, christian, spontaneous, loving, intuitive, & so much more.

so what is tarot?
i don’t read tarot to tell fortunes or to prove my own intuitive gifts. for me, tarot is a discernment tool to help connect to the divine energy that is all around us so that we might see things from a new vantage point & be guided into an ethic & life of radical community care.
my hope, in all my readings, is that you will walk away feeling affirmed to make the most life-giving decisions in your individual & communal realms.

i schedule tarot readings with a very flexible schedule, usually 5-10 readings a month. this gives me plenty of room to play & connect with your energy – i can spend as long with the cards as i need to in order to create a gorgeous spread & bring you nuanced & practical information

your reading will contain 10-ish minutes of audio recordings as well as a brief written record of your reading. having both video & text to come back to ensures that you can access tarot insights in a way that feels easeful & helpful for you

each tarot reading is unique
i take my time in connecting to your energy for the reading, it doesn't matter how far away we may be geographically. this virtual reading format allows me to show up as the best tarot reader i can be – fully attuned to the nuances of your energies, messages from your guides, wisdom from the universe, & anything else that might come through that's in your greatest good. these readings are energy intensive & quite detailed. you'll feel it :)
faq
when will i get my tarot reading done if i sign up now?
as a projector (in human design), my energy really ebbs & flows. i have found that i give my best readings when they are virtual & asynchronous. this means that after you sign up, i'll take my time & do your reading when i feel a call to connect with your energy. this time spaciousness allows me to settle into the tarot reading without a sense of stress & rush. i’ll do your reading during the month of february & send you videos & a write-up when it’s finished (that you’ll have access to forever!)
what do you mean you'll “connect to my energy” for the reading?
i pay attention to the energy & sensory experiences of your entire tarot reading. as i light the candles at my altar, meditate & ground myself, say a blessing over your energy & mine, & then invite a connection between us for the reading a number of wild things can happen. i often experience physical sensations that you may mirror something you're going through, or i may feel the presence of your ancestors & channel any messages they have for you, or something else might come up. creating a safe container to connect with your energy, in an environment free of rush, is what allows me to provide such insightful & meaningful readings. i never know what might happen when i connect to your energy, & that's part of the beauty of this practice
how can you be a christian & read tarot?
quite simply, every tarot experience i've ever had has brought me back to god. this doesn't mean that you have to be a person of faith to work with me! but my training in divinity school makes me uniquely positioned to use tarot as a christian discernment practice in incredible ways. this can be a breath of fresh air to folks who have been hurt by the institutional church or who are spiritual but not religious. tarot provides a framework to talk about theological & spiritual topics in messy & delightful ways – i hope you'll join me on this journey
what makes these readings different from your others?
the mind, body, spirit spread is a set 3 card spread. since the insights that come through tend to be more straightforward, this tarot reading has a shorter video time (still a solid 10 minutes) & a shorter write-up to accompany it. it's meant to be a more affordable option for folks who want to do regular check-ins with their energy. you'll get the most from a mind, body, spirit reading if you do them monthly so you can tune in to the lessons that your deep self has for you.

i use the star spinner deck by trungles. i love its mythic & fairy tale infused imagery, its queer approach to relationships, & the racial diversity of its characters

absolutely! once you've paid, you'll get an email from me where you'll fill out a bit of contact info. included in that is a section where you'll tell me if the reading is for you or for someone else :)
